I’m Allen Spence, and I’m running for Congress in Florida’s 17th District because I believe we need leaders focused on delivering real economic prosperity for our communities — and securing the long-term stability of our nation. That includes protecting and reforming Social Security and Medicare so they’re strong for the next generation and sustainable for the country.

Trump’s tariffs are hurting workers and businesses in our district. Congress must reclaim its authority that was given to Congress in The Constitution.Because tourism to Florida is collapsing. Flight bookings from Canada are down 70% in Summer 2025 compared to Summer 2024. This decline will be detrimental to the 17th Congressional district. We need a leader to stand up to the President and have the rhetoric toned down.Because I oppose any effort to sell off our National Parks or eliminate FEMA’s role in disaster response.Because child separation, ignoring court orders, and undermining habeas corpus are lines no American government should ever cross.Because the federal minimum wage hasn’t been raised in over 15 years.Because Russia is the aggressor and the war criminals must be defeated and accountable for their actions.Because Congress is supposed to be a check on executive power, not a rubber stamp.And because I have a plan to protect and reform Social Security and Medicare, not to gut them or let them collapse, but to strengthen them for future generations.
